Miss Joanne has been involved in the dance world for around 30 years now.  Being involved with her daughters, Miss Sarah and Miss Dee, as they grew up dancing has enabled her and her family to travel across the United States as well as to Australia.

She is a Zumba junkie and has been for over six years!! After loosing her father as well as several friends and family members to cancer she decided to do something to help find a cure.   Miss Joanne is a founding committee member for Caliente for the Cure, which is an affiliate of Susan G. Komen St. Louis.  Her current position is T-shirt Chair.  Each June her committee sponsors a two hour Zumba event to raise money to fight breast cancer.  She currently takes classes here at Dynamic Edge Dance Center under the instruction of her own daughter Miss Dee.  Along with Caliente for the Cure, she is also involved in Relay for Life, Arnold Missouri, where she is co-chair for the Luminaria committee.  Each June she is involved in a Relay for Life sponsored twelve hour fitness event, where the money raised is used to find a cure for ALL cancers.  Miss Joanne along with all of the staff here at DEDC is proud she is a part of two amazing affiliations.

Along with all of the Charity work she does, she  is currently employed full time by an optometry practice in South County.
