Alex auditioned along with many others for the Jefferson County’s Got Talent Show and was one of 16 acts selected to perform.   We are so proud of her, she received 2nd place!!  Way to go Alex!! She competed against 15 other acts that range in age from 7-26.

Miss Dee Meadows is Dynamic Edge Dance Center’s own certified Zumba instructor.   Her classes are high energy, a great workout, and a whole lot of fun!  Zumba Classes are on Tuesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. and Saturday Mornings from 9-10 a.m.  Come try out a class for free on anyone of those days, what do you have to lose!?!

Games, Face Painting, Haunted House, Fortune Teller, Dance Party, & Trunk-or-Treating!!

If you would like to participate in the Trunk-Or-Treat there is a $10.00 fee. (Please see front desk for registration form)

There will be a contest to see who has the best decorated car at our Trunk-or-Treat. Voted on by you!

So stop on by any time of the night and see your teachers and friends for a spooky good time!

The Tuesday Poms II class has changed from Tuesdays at 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. to its new time on Tuesday at 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused we are adjusting to new staff schedules.  Thank you for being so patient with us as we make these final class changes!

Bring a friend week is next week September 22nd – 27th!   If you  have a student interested in bringing a friend to any of their classes just click the link below to download and print the bring a friend class participation form.  All “friends” must have this form filled out to be able to participate in class. Brigitte Bartola is our staff feature of the week.  She is new to Dynamic Edge Dance Center and was a collegiate dancer for the UMKC dance team. After college she danced for semi professional teams in Kansas City and Professional soccer and football teams known as the KC Command and the KC Comet. On her fifth and final season for the KC Comets she served as captain. She teaches preschool and is working on her child life specialist certification! Welcome Miss Brigitte, we here at DEDC are excited to have you on board!!!

Welcome back to classes tonight!!!  Dynamic Edge dance Center has decided to start a new weekly feature on our website involving a new staff member!  It will include something about them either new or in their past dance history.  Enjoy, this week as we feature Miss Katie Kruse!

Miss Katie has been a DEDC staff member since 1999 and has been dancing for over 29 years.  Through dance Miss Katie has had the opportunity to travel to Australia, San Diego, Myrtle Beach, and Canada for Dance performances. Comes see her this weekend as she walks with the DEDC dancers at the Fenton Parade!

We hope you are excited about the new dance season starting on Wednesday, September 3rd.  Our staff is energized and ready to go. We hope our dancers are too!!

We look forward to seeing all of you beginning Wednesday, September 3rd.

Zumba class will be held Tuesday, September 2nd at 7 p.m.

Looks like this is going to be a great dance season!

Please note we have had to make a few changes to our schedule due to some scheduling conflicts.

The first class is the Tues. 8:00 – 9:00 Hip hop 2 and 3.  This class is now happening on Mondays from 7:45 – 8:45 p.m. still with Miss Sam.

The second class is Monday Contemporary 2 and 3 is now happening on Saturday Morning from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. still with Miss .

We have also added another Jumps 1 on Tuesday 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. with Miss Katie and Turns 1  on Tuesday 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.  with Miss Katie.  Please contact the studio when deciding which class is a better fit for your child.
