About Me

Samantha Knight is a passionate and dedicated dance professional who grew up
dancing competitively in the St. Louis area. Her love for dance led her to
Lindenwood University, where she was a proud member of both the national
championship-winning Lindenwood Lionettes and Lion Line dance teams. During
her time at Lindenwood, Samantha achieved two national titles in the hip hop
division, solidifying her reputation as both a powerful performer and a committed
teammate.
After graduating, Samantha transitioned into coaching and spent a total of four
impactful years guiding dancers. She led the Rockwood Summit Silver Stars for
four years and also returned to her college roots to coach the Lindenwood
Lionettes for two years. Coaching quickly became another outlet for her passion,
particularly in choreography and technical training.
Samantha’s choreography, created in partnership with Courtney Flowers, has
been celebrated across the country—earning 10 national championships with
high school and collegiate teams, as well as many top three, top five, and top ten
finishes. Their work has taken her across Missouri and out of state, where she
collaborates with dance programs to not only create dynamic routines but also
enhance technique throughout the season to prepare teams for national
competition.
In addition to her work with school-based teams, Samantha remains closely
connected to her roots, continuing to choreograph and teach at her home
studio, which recently celebrated 30 years of dance excellence. She treasures the
relationships she builds with dancers and is passionate about helping them grow,
build confidence, and reach their goals.
While she loves all styles of dance, Samantha’s heart beats strongest for
contemporary and jazz—where musicality, emotion, and movement come
together to create something truly powerful.
